Temperature Sensor IC
ROHM offers a broad lineup of ultra-compact, low current consumption thermostat output temperature sensors optimized for temperature monitoring and overheating protection in compact devices of all types. The BDJxxxxHFV series integrates a temperature detection element, constant current circuit, and high precision reference power source in a single chip. Additional features include low current consumption (7.5µA – 50% less than conventional products), built-in power down function, high analog output temperature sensitivity, precision thermostat, detection temperature hysteresis, and precise analog output (±2.5°C). Multiple models are available in a range of detection temperatures, from 55°C to 90°C in 5°C intervals. The units are available in a compact HVSOF5 package – 70% smaller than conventional SSOP5 packages.

The BA7654F, BA7653AF/AFV, and BA7652AF video switchers integrate 2-3 inputs into a single circuit. Utilization of a high-performance feedback clamp circuit at the input terminal enables compatibility with 0.01µF ceramic capacitors for input coupling resulting in increased space savings. 4-way Tilt Sensor
ROHM offers the standard RPI-1031 optical sensor that detects movement in 90° intervals using an in-house infrared LED, 2 phototransistors and light blocking mechanism.
A novel architecture is utilized for silent operation eliminating the need for soundproofing while increasing design flexibility. In addition, optical sensors are not susceptible to vibration or magnetic fields as are mechanical and magnetic 4-way sensors respectively resulting in greater reliability.
