Broadband Triple Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7657F and BH7659FS broadband video switchers were developed for input switching in high precision PC monitors and high definition TVs. 3 dual input broadband video switching circuits for RGB signal switching and 2-4 dual input switching circuits for sync and I2C BUS signals are integrated. The BA7657F features a built-in sync signal circuit while the BH7659FS is equipped with a power save function.

Thermostat Output Temperature Sensors
ROHM's output ICs with temperature switching function (BDExxx0G series) eliminate the need for the complicated circuitry required in conventional thermistor-type temperature detection circuits by integrating a high precision reference voltage source, comparator, constant current circuit, and temperature detection element in a single chip.
Additional features include adjustable detection temperature (3-stage: target, ±5°C), high detection accuracy (±4°C), low current consumption (16uA typ.), detection temperature hysteresis, and open drain/active low output. Fifteen models are offered in a wide range of temperatures (-20°C to +120°C, in 10°C increments) including SSOP5 package types.

Ultra-compact PicoLED™-eco
ROHM has developed the PicoLED™-eco (SML-P11) series of ultra-compact LEDs. Patented technology results in twice the brightness as conventional products in the low current region of 1mA - all from one of the industry’s smallest, thinnest packages that are 53% and 74% smaller in area and volume, respectively, than the conventional 1608 (0603) size. Energy consumption is approximately 50% less at the same brightness, and the high reliability four-element structure (AlGaInP) prevents brightness degradation - even after long term, continuous use. These LEDs are available in red, orange, yellow, and green, and their low power consumption makes them ideal for compact portable, battery driven devices.

Single Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7654F, BA7653AF/AFV, and BA7652AF video switchers integrate 2-3 inputs into a single circuit. Utilization of a high-performance feedback clamp circuit at the input terminal enables compatibility with 0.01µF ceramic capacitors for input coupling resulting in increased space savings. Features such as a high-speed switching function and a broad dynamic range ensures suitability with a wide range of applications.
4-way Tilt Sensor
ROHM offers the standard RPI-1031 optical sensor that detects movement in 90° intervals using an in-house infrared LED, 2 phototransistors and light blocking mechanism.
A novel architecture is utilized for silent operation eliminating the need for soundproofing while increasing design flexibility. In addition, optical sensors are not susceptible to vibration or magnetic fields as are mechanical and magnetic 4-way sensors respectively resulting in greater reliability.
